I don't believe that the human race will ever reach this point because for many countries, the purpose of war is to settle out conflicts along with fighting back for a country's supposed rights. As of today, there are several wars occurring around the globe, including Russia and Ukraine and Israel and Palestine. For war to be obsolete would almost be impossible given the circumstances.

I do. This is majorly due to technological and economic advancements that would be more catastrophic to countries if they were attacked than war itself. Also, the increased protection of countries using nuclear weapons contributes to the narrative.
